The Biafra protest expected to happen today, Friday, September 23 is going to be used as an opportunity to launch a satellite.
The protest is in support for the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu who was apprehended by security operatives in Lagos in October, 2015 and is held at Kuje prison in Abuja.
n a photo shared by a member of the group, Oluchukwu Uchenna he said he was launching the satellite to monitor those who conform to the stay-at-home order.
He wrote: “Tomorrow (today) my private satellite will be at work,it will capture the whole Biafra land and the zoo in general, I don’t beg people to observe the sit at home order, mind you it is an avenue we will use to know who is who, Biafra has come to stay, she is a moving train, she is bigger than all including Satan, nobody can thwart the original plan of God, you shall all see a surprise tomorrow, I must be indoor, but my satellite will go round the globe, and monitor everywhere. Zoo have fallen, nobody can help her again.”
Meanwhile, a Coalition of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has lashed out at those calling for a stay-at-home.
NAN reports that in a statement by the coordinator and secretary of the coalition, Messrs Okanu Muoneme and Basil Okwu, they said although the release of Nnamdi Kanu was their focus, they would not allow the unnecessary death of their members.
