candidate of the PDP on the September 28 Guber
poll yesterday formally withdrew his candidature
and stepped down from the Guber race he has since
declared his total support and embarked on grass
root mobilization and campaign for the APC
candidate Mr. Godwin Obaseki the unanimously
presume Governor elect of EDO STATE.
> MR IZE IYAMU at a press conference announced
this turn of event to a shocked crowd of PDP
supporters who then in the spirit of the moment all
brought out there PDP membership cards and tore
them into threads Mr. Ize Iyamu later declared that
he was taking this bold steps as he received the
vision where it was reviewed to him that God must
always win in all circumstances and which he
interpreted as the apparent victory of Mr. Godwin
Obaseki of the APC.
> IZE IYAMU further say he has no choice than to do
the right thing by stepping down to support and
campaign for Godwin Obaseki he then urged all the
good people of EDO STATE to come out en-mass and
vote Mr. Obaseki for continuous development and
sustainable growth in the state he pledged his
support for Godwin Obaseki and to serve in any
capacity to which he is appointed to Mr. Godwin
Obaseki administration.
