The accusation stems from the fact that an Abuja-based makeup artist, @mamzabeauty uploaded a photo of Aisha Buhari on her Instagram page just before her meeting with US First Lady Michelle Obama and wrote:

Our beautiful First Lady is very simple when it comes to her everything about her including her makeup…powder, eyeliner, eyebrows and lipstick. Her skin is beautiful and delightful to work on. #MAMZIFIED #mamzabeauty #mamzawowza #AishaMbuhari #futureassured #MeetingwithMrsObama.”
Although it has been said that the Aisha’s delegation is privately financed, so, it might not be an issue if she decides to take whoever she wants. However, many are not happy with her decision to go with her makeup artiste, Fati Mamza (mamzabeauty), and they have been expressing their dissatisfaction on social media.
